I’ve never been to pride nor do I have the desire to go
But nowadays whenever I see any pride flag or the modern flag for that I just … I don’t know it rubs me the wrong way I don’t want to look at it I don’t want nothing to do with it
Just the feeling like pride is not really enjoyable as a lesbian because the community is still very male centered it doesn’t really care for us how’s your experience with this I just feel exhausted every June

Iād love to participate in Pride but it has evolved into something I can no longer relate to. Lesbians are either an afterthought or actively demonized.
Even when there are “sapphic” or lesbian nights, it’s all inclusive and still men will come in and make it uncomfortable. (Like gay men and not even the Tims because ofc they want in on “free women”)
Pride in general for lesbians is almost non-existent and we are usually the terfs to kick off “their” turf since we are post homosexual in this era
